  • The Dignity of Seasons
    2026/02/02

Men, what if the season you’re trying to escape is actually the one shaping you the most?

In part two of my Home Depot story on I Know A Guy, I talk about hidden seasons—the quiet, unseen places where dignity is restored, not lost. I share the difference between humility and humiliation, how the Father speaks louder than the enemy in obscurity, and why faithfulness matters more than visibility.

  • What Home Depot Taught Me About Identity
    2026/01/30

I never expected losing my highest-paying job would lead me to Home Depot.

After being abruptly let go as a Chief Development Officer, fear set in fast. Bills. Mortgage. Identity. I took a job as a Head Cashier making $13 an hour—and that’s where the Father met me in a way I didn’t expect.

In this episode of I Know a Guy, I share how the Father gently dismantled my belief that my worth was tied to my income—and how Home Depot became a place of ministry, healing, and unexpected Kingdom moments, including praying for a mom carrying the weight of her daughter’s addiction.

If you’ve ever felt defined by what you earn, what you do, or what you’ve lost—this episode is for you.

  • Breaking the Shame Cycle
    2026/01/29

Why do the same arguments keep repeating?

Why do we shut down, lash out, or feel disconnected — even with the people we love most?

In Part Two of our shame series on I Know a Guy, we unpack how shame creates emotional cycles in our relationships and why most of us are reacting from protection, not intention. We’ll talk about how to recognize when shame is in the room, how to name it without blaming, and how living from our identity as beloved sons changes everything.

If you’re tired of repeating the same patterns and want to experience deeper connection, healing, and freedom, this episode will give you language — and hope.

Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed by shame… guilt… or frustration with life and others? You’re not alone. No more shrinking back. It’s time to rise into freedom and live from your true identity as a beloved son of the King.
