Help Support the Show: BUY ME A COFFEE
In this episode of Bill Monty's Guide for Getting Older, I talk about the confidence that comes from honest self-awareness — knowing your values, understanding your boundaries, accepting yourself and learning that you don't have to fight every battle you're invited to.
Knowing who you are doesn't mean becoming arrogant, difficult or confrontational. In fact, true confidence often allows us to become calmer, more compassionate and more willing to disagree without creating conflict.
To help illuminate the point, I share a memorable story of legendary sportscaster Howard Cosell. A story that is actually a foundation for this episode.
