This week, we’re talking about the weird identity crisis that is your 20s.
Friendships changing, protecting your energy, realising how much the people around you affect the way you feel… and the slightly overwhelming feeling that there are about 700 different lives you could live.
Because how are you supposed to “choose a life” when one minute you want to move abroad, the next you want to settle down, then you see someone living in a cottage in the countryside and suddenly that’s your calling?
We get into over-romanticising other people’s lives, the fear that choosing one path means losing all the others, and why sometimes the best indicator of whether someone belongs in your life is simply how you feel after spending time with them.
Basically: friendship, identity, the paradox of choice and trying to work out what you actually want underneath all the noise.
Just a girl trying to pick a life without romanticising another one five minutes later. x
