The Washington Huskies fell to the No. 18 USC Trojans 25-21 in a thrilling comeback victory for Southern California. Jahkeem Stewart’s 48-yard fumble return for a touchdown proved to be the decisive moment, erasing Washington’s double-digit deficit in the second half. Despite strong performances from Brian Bonner Jr. (89 rushing yards) and Chris Lawson (82 receiving yards), turnovers and missed opportunities haunted the Huskies.

Key players discussed include Demond Williams Jr., who threw for 198 yards and one touchdown but also an interception, and Brian Bonner Jr., who carried the ball 19 times for 89 yards. Chris Lawson emerged as a top receiver with five catches, while Dezmen Roebuck had a unique role involving a touchdown pass to Baron Naone. On defense, Rahshawn Clark led with nine tackles, but the unit couldn’t contain USC’s late surge.

Topics covered include the impact of turnovers on the game outcome, the surprising involvement of WR Dezmen Roebuck in the passing game, the critical nature of the two-point conversion attempt, and the upcoming challenge against the Iowa Hawkeyes. The hosts analyze the offensive struggles in the red zone and the defensive lapses that allowed USC to rally.
