What if the fear you've been feeling is actually a sign that something good is on its way?

In today's episode of Your Year of Miracles, I'm sharing a simple way to work with that fearful, fluttery feeling so it carries you forward to your next miracle. It's Halloween week, and fear is everywhere, but there's another kind of fear, the kind that shows up right before you do something big in your life.

I tell the story of my scariest three and a half minutes on live TV, share my dear friend Lisa Nichols's perfect word for feeling terrified and excited at the same time, and guide you through a one-minute practice to turn fear into excitement.

Here's what you'll hear:

• Why some fear is fun and some stops you

• My scariest three and a half minutes on live TV

• How John Gray helped me prepare for the Today Show

• Losing thirty seconds minutes before going live

• Muscle testing Meredith Vieira on national TV

• Why fear and excitement feel almost the same

• What it means to feel terror-cited

• How butterflies show up at the edge of growth

• A one-minute practice to call it excited

• Eleanor Roosevelt's words for stepping through fear

So, I invite you to place your hand on your heart the next time fear shows up, take a deep breath, and call it excited.

Let's make that happen here on Your Year of Miracles.
