Forget Hollywood—Portland, Oregon is the hidden gem of filmmaking. Venezuelan-born, Miami-raised Maria Moreno is here to share her love for the Portland film community. After studying film at Portland State University, she worked to get her foot in the door as a producer, Assistant Director, and filmmaker. Now she’s at the other end. Maria opens doors for diverse talent through her work with nonprofit, Outside the Frame, and Oregon Film.
