What does it really take to grow a following, attract more clients and turn social media into a serious business tool in 2026?

In this episode of What The Pluck, we’re joined by Carry Kershaw — PMU trainer, Global PMU Judge and 3x award winner, who has built an incredible Instagram following of over 47,000 people.

Carry helps women become financially independent through PMU training, and she knows first-hand how powerful social media can be when you use it with purpose.

We chat about how she grew her following, what actually works when creating content, and how PMU artists and beauty professionals can use social media to attract more business in 2026.

We also dive into the dos and don'ts of growing a following — from what you should be posting, how often you should be showing up, and why creating content doesn't have to feel like a full-time job.

And, because it's What The Pluck, we couldn't resist putting Carry on the spot with some quick-fire questions! 👀

What's acceptable to post on your business page?
What's better left on your personal account?
And what should absolutely never make it onto social media? 😂
If you're a PMU artist, beauty professional, trainer, small business owner — or simply someone who wants to grow their personal brand online — this episode is packed with practical advice, honest opinions and plenty of laughs.
