    Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening. Welcome to the How to Invest in Austin Real Estate. I'm Scott Carson, and I'm your host. I've called Central Texas home for over 20 years, and if you're looking to buy, sell, invest, or move to the Lone Star State's capital city, then this is the podcast for you.


    I'll be sharing new episodes weekly with you with some of my amazing real estate investing friends from all across the country on strategies that are working in the Austin and Central Texas markets, along with local boots on the ground experts who are helping investors like you and me and new homeowners or home sellers buy and sell real estate ranging from residential to commercial to land sales, and I'm really, really excited about this podcast. I was doing some research recently and found that there really wasn't a steady real estate investing podcast focused just on the Austin, Texas market, and as somebody who's been here for over 20 years and invested millions in the area, who loves Central Texas, even with all the growing pains that we seem to have from time to time, I want to take the time to help you identify opportunities, problems, and issues if you're investing here in Austin and surrounding markets ranging from just south of Waco all the way down to San Marcos. We'll be covering a lot of stuff, not just brisket and barbecue and all the things, but we'll be talking about a variety of strategies that are working, things that are getting developed, working with and vendors, talking with vendors who can help you take your real estate investing to the next level.


    Whether you're buying your first home, your first investment property, or you've bought millions in real estate, this is the podcast for you. We'll also be interviewing folks who are running different real estate investment clubs, talking with local investors on their latest fix and flips or strategies that are working, and a ton of case studies along the way.
