I recently had the opportunity to join Prof. Zae on the ITU community feature alongside my business partner, Brandon Pitts, Managing Partner of Lightspeed Investing.

We had a great conversation about what it really takes to approach trading like a professional, from building the right foundation and practicing before putting real capital at risk, to developing consistency, managing emotions, reviewing your performance, and staying committed to the process. We also talked about the mindset behind long-term success, why you should measure yourself against your own progress rather than someone else's, and how discipline and strategic perseverance can make the difference over time. Brandon also shared some practical insights on risk management, trade execution, and staying detached from daily profit & loss so you can focus on making the right decisions.
