How does God see you when you’ve failed?
Abraham is remembered as a man of incredible faith, but his life was also filled with fear, doubt, mistakes, and moments when he tried to take God’s plan into his own hands. Yet Scripture says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
In this message, we look at Genesis 15–16 and Romans 4 to discover what Abraham’s story teaches us about faith, grace, justification, and the righteousness of Christ. Our standing before God isn’t based on a perfect record. Through faith in Jesus, we receive a righteousness we could never earn on our own.
Your past failures don’t have to become the lens through which you interpret the rest of your life. Because of Jesus, there is grace, redemption, mercy, and a way forward.
Faith ultimately takes God at His Word and increasingly acts accordingly.
