  • Ep 70: From corporate burnout to transformative healing, with Gabi Brown
    2025/10/28
In today's episode, I chat with the inspiring Gabi Brown, founder of The Leopard Mind, who shares her remarkable journey from fashion PR professional to transformative life guide and sound healer. Gabi relays her early career in fashion PR, where she navigated the challenges of being a quieter personality in an industry dominated by big, flamboyant voices. While she loved the relationship-building aspects of her work and flourished in marketing and creative writing, she found herself increasingly drained as her role shifted toward a sales-driven focus that left little room for creativity. We explore how Gabi had already begun planting the seeds of change by training as a beauty therapist at night school while still working full-time, eventually launching her own mobile beauty business. This venture became her 'permission slip' to prove she didn't have to exist in the traditional 9-to-5 world, and when she finally left her corporate role in October 2018, she discovered something unexpected: working one-to-one with clients created profound opportunities for connection, and she found herself naturally offering emotional support alongside her beauty services. Gabi shares the beautiful synchronicity of how she first experienced a sound bath, inspiring her to train as a transformative life guide and sound healer, drawing deeply from her own lived experience. We delve into fascinating concepts including neuroplasticity (and the brain's remarkable capacity for change), using affirmations effectively and the concept of vibration and how everything is constantly in motion. So whether you're feeling stuck in a career that no longer serves you, curious about alternative healing or ready to embrace your own capacity for transformation, Gabi's honest storytelling and holistic wisdom offer both inspiration and practical tools for creating meaningful change. • Ep 69: Finding meaning through feng shui, with Katie Bradbury
    2025/10/14

In today's episode, I chat with Katie Bradbury, a Feng Shui consultant who made the bold leap from a demanding corporate tech career to building a business centred around ancient wisdom and intentional living.

Katie shares her journey from working long hours as an apprentice at an American-owned tech company - progressing professionally but losing herself in the process - to the pivotal moment that changed everything. She relays how after the loss of close friend and colleague, she witnessed how quickly workplace routines returned to normal, leaving her with a profound sense of feeling replaceable and questioning whether her work truly mattered. This awakening sparked her search for something more meaningful, even though she didn't yet know what that would be.

We explore the unexpected catalyst that led Katie to Feng Shui: noticing dramatic behavioural changes in her dog after moving to a new property. What began as curiosity evolved into conviction when she experimented with rearranging items in her home, and witnessed remarkable professional breakthroughs for both herself and her partner. It was enough to inspire her to save up, leave her corporate role, and become certified as a Feng Shui consultant.

Katie's mission is to make Feng Shui accessible to everyone; she shares practical starting points that anyone can implement: from decluttering, to viewing your home as a 3D vision board that reflects what you're attracting into your life.

So whether you're feeling stuck professionally, seeking more meaning in your work, or simply curious about creating positive change through your living space, Katie's story and practical wisdom offer an inspiring roadmap for transformation.

  • Ep 68: Embracing visibility, with Abi Moore
    2025/09/30
In today's episode, I chat with the hugely talented Abi Moore, a photographer and visibility coach who specialises in helping quietly ambitious, camera-shy businesswomen elevate their marketing. Abi shares her fascinating career transition from corporate PR to becoming a successful entrepreneur and mother. She opens up about how starting a family sparked her pivot to photography, drawing on skills from her media degree to create a career that offered both creative fulfillment and the flexibility she needed as a new mum. What began as family and baby photography naturally evolved into business & brand photography. Abi discovered that her business clients needed more than just beautiful images—they needed guidance on how to use those images effectively for visibility and marketing. This realisation led to her current and expanded mission of helping women step into the spotlight of their own businesses. I was particularly struck by Abi's honest admission about starting her own business as a 'faceless' enterprise, only to realise she needed to practice what she was preaching. Her journey from hiding behind her camera to becoming the face of her brand is both relatable and inspiring, and the positive impact this shift had on her business speaks volumes. We explore so much including how Abi now guides her clients through the same confidence journey she experienced herself, encouraging them to step just beyond their comfort zone in many areas indeed. She shares her philosophy that "done is better than perfect" when it comes to social content, and discusses the cultural barriers that have historically discouraged women from putting themselves forward. Abi offers practical wisdom about the balance between helping clients look their best while acknowledging that what matters most is how confident they feel in front of the camera. Do listen to the end where Abi shares her three essential tips for creating authentic, engaging content that resonates with audiences. So whether you're struggling with visibility in your own business, feeling camera-shy, or simply looking to embrace a more confident version of yourself online, Abi's compassionate approach and practical strategies provide a clear path forward.
