  • The Power of Thanksgiving and the Strength of Our Testimony | Brother Dennis Olaniyi
    2026/08/02

Gratitude isn't just something we feel — it's something we say out loud. In this message, Brother Dennis Olaniyi reminds us that everything we have, down to our next breath, flows from God's grace rather than our own effort or brilliance. Anchored in Psalm 107:1-2 and the story of the ten lepers in Luke 17 — where only one turned back to say thank you — this teaching confronts the quiet sense of entitlement that keeps so many of us from expressing real thanksgiving. As Brother Dennis puts it, "an ungrateful heart never makes it to the Promised Land." A powerful call to testify daily to God's faithfulness, and a reminder that our greatest testimony of all is the gift of salvation.

    Speaker: Brother Dennis Olaniyi

    Scripture: Psalm 107:1-2 · Luke 17:11-19

  • Post Convention Thanksgiving, Reflection,Testimony Service | Pastor Goke Afolayan
    2026/07/26

Fifty days of prayer led up to it. Now, one week removed from GOFAMINT's 34th Annual National Convention — themed "More Than Enough" — House of Hope gathers to give thanks, reflect, and testify.

Standing in for Resident Pastor Sunday Adu, currently traveling overseas for ministry, Pastor Goke Afolayan opens with the National office's post-convention charge: revisit every convention message prayerfully, write down what God reveals, and take real, measurable action on it — because, as Pastor Adu himself put it, "the glory of this convention is in doing the assignment that follows it."

The congregation then pauses for testimony, including a gripping account of a tire blowout on the highway during convention week — and God's protection in the middle of the night.

Pastor Afolayan closes with his own personal takeaway from Genesis 17: the 24 years between God's first call to Abraham in Genesis 12 and the moment He reveals Himself as El Shaddai — "more than enough" — with a new charge: "walk before Me and be perfect." Drawing on Matthew 6:33, he unpacks why that call to a deeper walk comes only after we've already tasted God's goodness — and what it looks like to answer it today.

A service of gratitude, honest reflection, and a fresh pursuit of the call to perfection.

  • The Fear of the Lord Brother | Samuel Bolomope
    2026/07/13

What does it really mean to fear God — and have we quietly lost it without even noticing?

In this honest, convicting message, Brother Samuel Bolomope shares how a topic he didn't choose for himself ended up searching his own heart first. He opens up about how years of faithful service — his own weekly role behind the drums — had quietly become a stand-in for real, trembling pursuit of God.

Walking through Scripture from Moses at the burning bush to the sobering stories of Eli's sons, Nadab and Abihu, and Ananias and Sapphira, Brother Samuel unpacks two very different kinds of fear: one that makes us hide from God, and one that draws us closer to Him. He shows how true fear of the Lord isn't a cage but a doorway into deeper intimacy, wisdom, and blessing (Proverbs 9:10, Psalm 25:14).

This isn't a message meant to condemn — it's an invitation to come home. Walk away with practical, everyday steps to rebuild reverence in your walk with God, your home, and your daily life.
