  • The Missing Moment: Mark 16:1-14

    The Resurrection account in Mark of subject to some criticism. Some believe that some of the verses of the account were not added until later and should not be included in chapter 16.

    But regardless of added later or not, the critics and skeptics miss the fact that the same details of the resurrection are also recorded in the other gospels.

    None of this changes the story and miracle of the resurrection and while many miss the moment for many reasons, it is vitally important that the moment is not missed.

    For our eternity and our ability live the Christian life hangs in the balance.

    Matthew 25:14-30

    As Christians, God calls each of us to different tasks in service to Him and the Kingdom of God. We are all different members of one body, and we need each member.

    Our Primary purpose in life is to worship God and glorify him in all we do.

    In doing so we are to grow in our walk with God and point others to God with our walk and with our words, leading people to the cross for Salvation, and helping them all the things that Christ has taught us.

    Our desire must be to do our best in fulfilling the purpose and will of God in our lives, so that like Paul in II Timothy 4:7 - we might be able to say, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.

    And in doing so we will one day hear from our King: Well done good and faithful servant.
