Hebrews 10:32-36

There are many events, historical and personal, that we tend to remember in life. Some of these we might want to forget, and others we long to remember.

The Tragic events of September 11, 2021 may be of the "wish we could forget" category, it is important that we remember. It is also important that we pass on what happened to others who do no know or were born after the events and have never been told.

Similarly there are Biblical and Spiritual events that have taken place, that we must also Remember, tell others, and never forget.

In this message we share 10 of such events that are critically important to remember as we go through this life and in preparation to move on to the next.

Galatians 2:11-13

Through Paul's retelling of his confrontation with Peter, we learn of the dangerous truths of Hypocrisy and the unchecked impact it has on lives and the church. We also learn of the proper way to deal with sin that a brother or sister who is caught up in such a dangerous sin.

Galatians 1:13-24

Continuing our study of the book of Galatians brings us back to Paul continuing to share his testimony and validation of His call as an apostle. As Paul shares his story , we learn that neither the journey of God to Salvation, nor the journey of following and serving Him after salvation are smooth and straight. The journey we travel, like Paul's is often one that is broken and twisting filled with hills and valleys. Things seldom go the way you think they will go. God however uses this broken road to lead us to where He would have us go and blesses the broken road.

The book of Galatians is one of the earliest written books of the New Testament and the first letter written by Paul the Apostle. This week we begin with an overview introduction to the book as well as learn from Paul's introduction and greeting in verses 1-5 of the first chapter, what Paul wanted people to know first about by whose authority He was teaching and what the message was he was delivering

Parable or not, the story of the rich man and Lazarus gives us important insight to what happens after death.

The lion's share of the story shares warnings and truths about the dwelling place of those who have left this life for the next without having been redeemed by Love of God!

As Christians, we often get stuck in either, not knowing what to pray for, or praying primarily for our physical needs.

In The High Priestly Prayer of John 17, Jesus prays for His Himself, His disciples, and for us.

We learn from this prayer, what God prays for, and what His prayer is for His believers.

The Resurrection account in Mark of subject to some criticism. Some believe that some of the verses of the account were not added until later and should not be included in chapter 16.

But regardless of added later or not, the critics and skeptics miss the fact that the same details of the resurrection are also recorded in the other gospels.

None of this changes the story and miracle of the resurrection and while many miss the moment for many reasons, it is vitally important that the moment is not missed.

For our eternity and our ability live the Christian life hangs in the balance.

Matthew 25:14-30

As Christians, God calls each of us to different tasks in service to Him and the Kingdom of God. We are all different members of one body, and we need each member.

Our Primary purpose in life is to worship God and glorify him in all we do.

In doing so we are to grow in our walk with God and point others to God with our walk and with our words, leading people to the cross for Salvation, and helping them all the things that Christ has taught us.

Our desire must be to do our best in fulfilling the purpose and will of God in our lives, so that like Paul in II Timothy 4:7 - we might be able to say, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.

And in doing so we will one day hear from our King: Well done good and faithful servant.
