Predestined salvation or free will salvation, the Bible argues both, and the argument split Christianity into denominations that still exist because of it. Calvin took 1 side. Arminius took the other. Romans 8:30 runs God as the subject of every verb, predestined, called, justified, glorified. John 1:12 runs belief as the hinge the whole sentence turns on. Both reside in the new testament; yet the different books making opposite claims about who's actually choosing salvation.
