Welcome to the CLD Talks x IADC World Community Development Conference 2026 Series.
Conor and Eddie interviewed 11 practitioners from across the globe on the Wednesday of the Conference. We got a great insight to why people decided to start a career in Community Development, how Community Developmentworks in their part of the world and so many different cultures.
In this episode we speak with Holly Scheib who is Vice Chair of the IACD and Director of Community Development for Taos Pueblo and Sunshine Duran who is also from Taos Pueblo.
We asked a question which was themed around the conference which was “Community Development in a Chaotic World: Challenge, Change and CollectiveAction”. The responses and insights from all guests show great creativity and passion which is incredibly encouraging.
