Neli grew up in a deeply Muslim culture in Iran. Although she believed in God and yearned to know him, she began to rebel against the version of him she was taught about as a young teen. She cried out to God and asked him to reveal himself; and that, he did.

Jesus revealed himself to Neli in a transformative dream despite knowing very little about him. A friend secretly shared the gospel with her, and she privately accepted Christ.
