What if the most dominant rap crew of the 2000s never broke apart? In this episode of Hip Hop What Ifs, we explore the ultimate West Coast-East Coast hip-hop hypothetical: What if The Game never left G-Unit?

After the massive multi-platinum success of The Documentary, internal friction and industry politics forced a division between 50 Cent and The Game. But what if cooler heads prevailed and G-Unit remained a unified force?

In this episode, we break down how a unified front would have impacted Interscope Records and 2000s rap radio, how The Game’s sophomore album Doctor's Advocate would have sounded with Dr. Dre and 50 Cent still in his corner, how a united G-Unit might have altered the historic 2007 sales battle between 50 Cent's Curtis and Kanye West's Graduation, and how remaining in G-Unit would have redefined the West Coast comeback movement.

Would G-Unit have become an untouchable dynasty, or was the split inevitable? Drop your takes in the comments!
