    2026/09/02

    Every state has its stories.

Places you're not supposed to go after dark.

Things somebody's grandfather swears he saw. A road everyone drove in high school because somebody said something weird happened there.

Most of those stories stay local.

But Utah… Utah seems to collect them differently. Maybe it's the landscape. We have red rock that looks like it belongs on another planet. Basins so empty...and so quiet...you can hear your own pulse.

Mountains that can hide entire communities from one another.

Lakes so blue they don't look real.

And stretches of desert where you can drive for miles...

    without seeing another person.

Maybe when you put people in a landscape like that… stories are inevitable.

Because when there's this much silence around you...

eventually...your mind starts filling in the rest.

But here's the thing about the stories we're opening tonight.

Every one of them has something real underneath it.

  • Ghost Towns
    2026/07/29

Across America...there are thousands of ghost towns. Places where schools closed. Church bells stopped ringing. Businesses locked their doors...and never opened again.

Some disappeared because the mines ran dry. Some because the railroad moved.

Others...because people simply left. Today...they're tourist attractions. Places to take photographs. Places to wander for an afternoon.

But ask the people who live nearby...and you'll hear different stories.

Stories about footsteps in empty hotels. Lights in buildings without electricity. Voices echoing down abandoned streets. Figures standing in second-story windows...where no one has lived for decades.

So tonight… we're asking a simple question. When a town dies...does anything stay behind?
