  • Beyond the Pad: Building a Period-Friendly World
    2026/05/28

In this special episode of Hideout Podcast, in collaboration with Positive Young Women Voices under the Sauti Moja Alliance, we sit down with Tony and Eunice from Family Bridge of Hope to unpack this year’s Menstrual Hygiene Day theme: “Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld.”

Through honest conversation and storytelling, we explore the importance of dignity, intentionality, community support and menstrual justice beyond just access to pads. The episode highlights the realities many girls and marginalized communities still face, while also imagining a future where periods are met with care, inclusion and understanding instead of shame and stigma.

This is a conversation about people, empathy and the kind of world we choose to build together.
