    2026/04/14

AI porn is no longer a fringe curiosity — it’s rapidly becoming one of the most disruptive shifts in how we think about sex, media, and consent. In this episode of Hide and Seek, Jon is joined by queer artist and technologist Leo Herrera to unpack what’s really going on beneath the headlines.

We start by breaking down what “AI porn” actually means — from fully synthetic erotic content to deepfakes and “nudification” tools — and how these technologies have evolved from earlier forms of porn and online intimacy. As Herrera explains, this isn’t just a new format; it’s a fundamental shift toward hyper-personalised, frictionless sexual experiences that blur the line between fantasy and reality.

From there, we dive into the ethical fault lines. Who owns the data these systems are trained on? Can consent exist in a world where images are scraped, remixed, and regenerated at scale? And what happens when anyone can generate explicit content of anyone else — with or without their knowledge?

We also explore the real-world impacts: the rise of non-consensual deepfakes, the disproportionate harm faced by women, queer people and sex workers, and the ways this technology is already reshaping sexual development, relationships, and expectations.

But it’s not all dystopian. We look at the potential for AI to enable new forms of expression, representation, and even harm reduction — while asking what an “ethical” AI porn ecosystem might realistically look like.

This is a conversation about more than porn. It’s about power, technology, and the future of human intimacy — and whether we can build the language, norms, and safeguards fast enough to keep up.

Listen now and decide for yourself: evolution, or something far more?

What happens when content stops being something you scroll… and becomes something you experience?

This week on Hide and Seek, we’re joined by CakeMix https://linkin.bio/cakemix/ — a creator remixing porn into something entirely different: beat-matched, instruction-driven, and designed to guide your arousal in real time. Think less “watching” and more… participating.

We unpack what porn remixing actually is, how music, timing and editing can shape desire, and why some people are swapping passive viewing for something closer to a shared ritual. From solo sessions to online parties, is this porn as choreography, community, and culture?

We also dive into the hard questions: is this art, curation, or something new entirely? What happens when audiences become participants? And where does this all go next — VR, AI, or something even more unexpected?

  • 227 – Frightful Delightful
    2026/04/02

Fear isn’t something we usually associate with pleasure… so why does it turn some people on?

Kitty Katastrophy returns to Hide and Seek to explore one of kink’s most misunderstood dynamics: fear play. From knife play to interrogation scenes, we unpack what this kink actually looks like in practice — and why it’s far more about trust, imagination, and control than real danger.

We explore how fear can heighten sensation, the role of adrenaline and anticipation, and why psychological play can be just as intense as physical kink. Then we get into the fundamentals: negotiation, consent, safewords, and the kind of communication that makes these scenes possible.

Plus — we tackle myths, media misconceptions, and what fear play reveals about vulnerability, trust, and human connection, and Craig and Joenas are totally shocked!

  • 226B – Hey Mister DJ – PJ Knox
    2026/04/02

From porn sets to DJ decks to live stage shows — PJ Knox does it all.

This week, PJ joins Hide and Seek to talk about his journey through the adult industry, what’s changed in the age of OnlyFans and JustForFans, and how performers are navigating a world where content creation is more personal — and more constant — than ever.

We dive into the realities behind the scenes: what makes a great performer, what audiences don’t see, and how porn today compares to the industry of even a few years ago. Then we shift gears into live performance — what it’s like bringing sexuality onto the stage, and how that experience differs from working on camera.

It’s a conversation about creativity, career evolution, and finding your lane in an industry that never stops changing.

Impact play might look simple from the outside — but there’s a lot more going on beneath the surface.

Kitty Katastrophy joins us to break down one of the most common (and misunderstood) forms of kink. From hands to implements, thuddy to stingy, we explore the wide spectrum of sensations that fall under the impact play umbrella.

We get into technique, rhythm, and why good impact play is as much about flow and connection as it is about force. Plus: subspace, aftercare, and how people build scenes that are not just physically safe, but emotionally grounded.

Whether you’re curious, cautious, or already playing — this is a deep dive into the skills, communication, and trust that make impact play work.

    2026/04/02

What does porn look like from behind the camera?

This week on Hide and Seek, we’re joined by Third Officer, a camera operator working in queer adult content. We step off the screen and onto the set to explore what it really takes to film intimacy — technically, emotionally, and ethically.

From building trust with performers to navigating boundaries, power dynamics, and consent, Third Officer shares what audiences rarely see. We also explore the surprising emotional side of the work: how filming sex can shape your understanding of intimacy, connection, and presence.

Plus — we unpack myths about porn production, what makes a great scene beyond what’s visible, and where queer adult content might be heading next.

  • 224 – The Write Stuff
    2026/02/10

What actually makes erotic fiction work? Is it the heat, the heart, or the way a story makes you feel seen? This week on Hide and Seek, Jon and Joenas are joined by Melbourne-based queer author Dion Marc for a wide-ranging, funny, and surprisingly thoughtful conversation about writing desire, storytelling, and what happens once your work leaves the page and meets its readers.

We talk about how Dion found his way into queer erotica, why he writes unapologetically gay stories, and how personal experience, fantasy, kink, and imagination collide when crafting intimate scenes. From avoiding formulaic sex writing to embracing fantasy elements (yes, including vampires), Dion shares what keeps his work feeling genuine rather than repetitive.

The conversation also digs into the afterlife of books — reader reactions, unexpected interpretations, and the emotional impact of feedback, both good and bad. We explore representation in queer fiction, why it matters, and how stories can shape the way readers see themselves, their bodies, and their desires.

In the final part of the episode, Dion reflects on growth, staying grounded as an audience grows, and offers advice for queer writers — especially those curious about erotic fiction but unsure where to start.

Expect laughs, nerdy tangents, spicy metaphors, and a reminder that sometimes the most powerful stories are the ones written honestly, even when they’re horny.

  • 223 – I PIED Myself
    2026/02/03

Performance and image enhancing drugs (PIEDs) are everywhere in queer spaces — from gyms and dance floors to dating apps and dressing rooms — but honest, non-judgemental conversations about them? Not so much. In this episode of Hide and Seek, the Sexperts change that.

Jon, Craig and Joenas are joined by Henri from @sesh.ed to unpack what PIEDs actually are (and aren’t), why they’re disproportionately used in rainbow communities, and how harm reduction — not shame — needs to be at the centre of the conversation. From anabolic steroids and testosterone, to GLP-1s like Ozempic, peptides, fat burners and stimulants, this episode widens the lens on what counts as a “performance drug” and why all of them deserve the same safety thinking.

Together, the panel explores the pressures driving use: body image, desirability, masculinity, safety, confidence, belonging, gender affirmation, and the relentless visual economy of apps, porn and event marketing. We talk bigorexia, fat-shaming, trans and gender-diverse experiences, and why “just don’t do it” has never worked — for anyone.

The second half of the episode goes deep on harm reduction. Henri breaks down safer sourcing, blood tests, injecting practices, cycle planning, post-cycle considerations, fertility, mental health impacts, sexual health interactions (including PrEP and HIV meds), and why electrolyte drinks are not optional. There’s also practical advice on supporting friends who use PIEDs — without interrogating them, judging them, or turning them into your personal Google.

This is a grounded, compassionate, occasionally filthy but always informative episode that treats people like adults making complex choices about their bodies. If PIEDs have ever crossed your radar — or someone you care about is using them — this one’s essential listening.
