Being a child.....at some point we were all one. When we were a child - we were given the name and appearance of our parents. As an adopted child, while we may not look like our earthly parents, we may take on their personality or likeness.
We are going to borrow Ephesians 1:4 again - before the foundations of the world, God chosen us to be his. Since he is our Heavenly Father (if you know Jesus as your Savior), then you are a Child of God. We bear his likeness/appearane, we have his name and we are part of his family. This makes me think, maybe the heavenly perspective of ourselves should be higher than the earthly one. Now there a place to grow :)
