Inspired by their mom, AKA Momma Ashley, a caterer who happens to know a thing or two about eat’n, drink’n, and tell'n stories! The sisters gather each week to gab about funny Momma Ashley stories, the hits and misses of their weekly menus, and parties thrown. Sibling guests join them to recount funny stories of holiday celebrations, family trips, and what it was like at their childhood dinner table.   • The Brew Brothers of Martin House Brewing Company

    After their annual trip to the State Fair of Texas, Courtney and Whitney recap the adventurous day of eating corny dogs, drinking Mustard flavored beer, and riding a ridiculously large swing that had Courtney scared AF. With Momma Ashley in toe, they hit all of the fair highlights including the famous butter sculpture, enormous hog balls, and some last minute nachos.

    Next, Courtney and Whitney swap their signature martinis for beer flights with Cody Martin and Dylan Stefanos of Fort Worth based Martin House Brewing Co. in Fort Worth, TX. The brothers share how an engineer’s curiosity turned into Texas’ most inventive brewery where they’re brewing a new flavor every week including their Mustard Beer for the State Fair or Texas.

    Raised by Momma Cara, a woman they describe as patient, giving, and understanding, it’s clear where they learned their grounded approach to life and business. Her mix of compassion and grit comes through in every story, the kind of mom who drinks a pot of black coffee before sunrise, listens without judgment, and somehow always knows when to step in or let her children figure it out.

    Between sibling stories, questionable flavor experiments, and a few laugh-out-loud tasting moments, it is a Texas-size hang that is equal parts beer talk and brotherly banter.

  • It's Praline Girl Fall, Y'all!

    This week on Hey Sis, Eat This, things get a little fishy…literally. Courtney, Whitney, and Momma Ashley dish on everything from a dangerously delicious tuna sandwiches, to Momma’s canned meat creations and Fall inspired recipes.

    The episode kicks off with Whitney’s concern that Courtney is one panini away from mercury poisoning due to her obsession with the tuna mousse sandwich at her “office” Joe & the Juice. Meanwhile, Momma’s been busy catering a top-secret wedding (that isn’t so secret anymore) after telling everyone about the menu at her monthly book club. Even more shocking is the lunch she served at book club, a retro “meat mousse” made with deviled ham that has the girls gagging.

    They round out the episode with their latest fall favorites. Whitney declares her Lemony, Parmy White Beans a total panty dropper, while Courtney shows off her pumpkin pie topped with Momma’s famous praline — which she’s now putting on just about anything that stands still.

    They also give a sneak peek at next week’s boozy brewery episode with the Martin House Brewing Co. brothers, Cody and Dylan. Martin House Brewing Co. brothers, Cody and Dylan. And just when you think it’s over, Courtney gets a surprise visit that scares her worse than Whitney’s Halloween decorations.

  • The Crack Pie Was Robbed
    2025/10/02

    It’s a sweet one this week — literally. Momma Ashley and Whitney earned a shared second place at the North Haven Gardens Pie Contest for the bourbon pecan pie, though Whitney is still convinced the family’s crack pie was robbed after being completely devoured before voting ended. Courtney shares her own baking adventure of making three dozen brownies for the school carnival, which somehow required five grocery runs in one morning. And because she’s always thinking ahead, Momma pitches North Haven Garden on cooking classes using their herbs and veggies, turning pie day into her next big idea.
