What could a bunch of slightly bonkers birds possibly teach us about life, work and everything in between?

Quite a lot, as it happens! Especially when one of them is questioning who she really is, another has an opinion about absolutely everything, and a certain parrot can’t stop repeating himself.

I’m Wendy Friston, and I’ve always loved a good story, especially one that makes you laugh and then catches you thinking about it later. That’s the idea behind Hey Firebird: A Daily Dose of Fabulousness.

• Meet Florence, Percy Pigeon and Sebastian the Parrot, three very different personalities with a few familiar quirks!
• Find out why I decided to combine my love of storytelling with years of experience helping people with their fitness, their lives and their businesses.
• Discover a different approach to personal development, without the lectures or the guilt about everything you haven’t done yet.
• Enjoy a few minutes of daily feathered fun, fabulous stories and occasional little revelations about life, work and everything in between.
• Expect mishaps, mischief, ruffled feathers and perhaps a little magic along the way!

Ever feel like you’re flapping around trying to keep up with everybody else, while all the things you’d really love to do keep getting pushed to tomorrow? Meet Florence, an inquisitive tiny fledgling who’s grown up among pigeons and is trying her very best to be one of them. The trouble is, she keeps getting distracted by all the interesting things happening around her, and the other pigeons don’t seem nearly as excited about them as she is!

In the very first episode of Hey Firebird: A Daily Dose of Fabulousness, we meet Florence and see why being a good pigeon isn’t quite as straightforward as she’d hoped.

• Meet Florence and her beloved pigeon family, who seem perfectly happy doing the same things every day.
• Find out why Florence’s curiosity keeps getting her into a flap, especially when there are exciting things to explore.
• Recognise that familiar feeling of having plenty to be happy about while still wanting to try something different.
• Think about the ideas, interests and adventures that give you that lovely little buzz of excitement.
• Then find out why an ordinary day in the park might be about to become rather more interesting!

Follow Hey Firebird: A Daily Dose of Fabulousness and come back tomorrow to find out what happens next. There’s room on the branch for you!
