  • The Real Story of the Tonkin Gulf Incident
    2026/10/12

Our guest today is author and retired Navy radar specialist John F. Calder. His book Fire for Effect chronicles his one-year tour of duty during the critical early days of the Vietnam War aboard two US. destroyers the USS McDermott the USS Stoddard – whose main mission was to provide gunfire on shore in support of the 3rd U.S. Marine Division – deployed to Da Nang.

Calder’s account centers on the events of early August 1964, when North Vietnamese torpedo boats allegedly attacked American destroyers in international waters. The USS Stoddard played a direct role in the military response that followed these incidents, firing some of the first American shots in what would become a lengthy and controversial conflict.

Calder recounts the sequence of events with precision, explaining the tactical decisions made by commanders and the operational realities faced by sailors in a tense and uncertain situation. Most importantly, he provides firsthand evidence to prove how the pivotal Gulf of Tonkin incident, that triggered the famed 1964 congressional resolution that authorized the U.S. to take military action in Vietnam, could not have happened as described by authorities at the time.

  • Breaking Down The Vince Foster Coverup
    2026/10/05

On Tuesday afternoon, July 20, 1993, Vincent W. Foster, President Bill Clinton’s deputy White House Counsel and close friend of the Clinton’s was found dead in a seclude area of Fort Marcy Park, ten miles from the White House. A bullet had entered the right side of his neck below the jaw line and entered his brain.

The national media reported the cause of death a suicide and has steadfastly stuck to that narrative ever since. But as attorney John H. Clarke reports, there is overwhelming evidence -- including eyewitness testimony -- to support the conclusion that something much more sinister was afoot. John Clarke is with us today to talk about that evidence; the part then-prosecutor Brett Kavanaugh played in the cover-up of a potential murder; and how the real story of what happened to Vince Forster might have changed the course of history.

  • The Wounded Blue
    2026/09/28

Our guest today is Lt. Randy Sutton founder and chairman of the board of The Wounded Blue, a national non-profit that supports injured law enforcement officers and emphasizes the critical need for community, purpose and post-service direction.

During his distinguished 34-year career with the Las Vegas Police Department , Randy survived five officer-related shooting and countless violent arrests, but it was a stroke suffered on the Las Vegas Strip at 2:30 in the morning the turned his life around. Lying in a hospital bed fighting for his life, Randy expected his police department to rally around him – their most decorated veteran and the youngest cop to join the force at age nineteen. Instead they denied his medical benefits and spent taxpayer money fighting his claim in court.

Randy fought back and in the process transformed American law enforcement forever. From his hospital bed he founded The Wounded Blue - the largest law enforcement officer support organization in the nation. The Wounded Blue now operates a 24/7 crisis hotline 833-TWB-TALK and has helped over 15,000 abandoned officers reclaim their lives, careers and dignity.
