    A Guns N’ Roses concert and Coyote vs. Acme sent Ryan and Jay headfirst into a full-blown nostalgia spiral.

    This week, we’re going back to Saturday mornings with a bowl of cereal, Toys “R” Us ball cages, Teddy Ruxpin, Fruit Stripe gum, Crystal Pepsi, TGIF, personal phone lines, Blockbuster, Scholastic book fairs, waterbeds and all the wonderfully ridiculous stuff that made growing up in the late ’80s and ’90s feel like its own universe.

    Along the way: Ryan reveals his deep commitment to a Cabbage Patch Kid named Patrick, Jay explains how a Jerky Boys prank call brought the fire department to her house and we make the case for bringing back the busy signal.

    But underneath all the Pogs and slap bracelets is a bigger question: do we actually miss all that stuff … or do we miss who we were when we had it?

    Also, 1990 was ten years ago and we will not be taking questions.

    Ryan and Jay are planting their flags on the completely meaningless hills on which they're willing to die. Cake is so overrated. Ranch belongs on mac and cheese. There IS a correct way to load a dishwasher. And please, for the love of God, summarize your dreams. From read receipts and concert encores to wet bathroom floors, punctuality and the proper direction of toilet paper, no issue is too petty for a passionate argument.
