Here Am I, Send Me: Raising Young Lions |A Time for Every Purpose
Recorded: Sept 23, 2026
Scripture: Isaiah 6:8-9 and Isaiah 5:25-30
Desiree Day does something different today — no script, no plan, just a message straight from her heart. She's widening what this show is for: not just you, but your whole family, as you raise up "activated kingdom shifters" together.
She's led to Isaiah 6:8-9 — Isaiah's answer when God asks, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" — "Here am I. Send me." But before that verse, God takes her somewhere she didn't expect: the end of Isaiah 5, to the banner lifted up to the nations and the roar of young lions. And that's when a real moment from her morning breaks it wide open — a dinosaur sticker, a hard daycare drop-off that suddenly wasn't hard, and her almost-three-year-old son running in with a smile, saying "Roar."
Dez connects her son's roar to Isaiah's roaring lions in real time, on mic, and gets honest that these aren't tears of sadness — they're prayers. She reframes today's Holy Shift Action around raising the next generation: share this scripture with your children, tell them the story of Isaiah being called, and let them know they can say "Here I am" too.
This is the start of a new format for Holy Shift Devotionals — same heart, same mission, now built to be listened to as a family.
