We all know we’re supposed to read our Bibles. Scripture is clear: God wants us to know Him and abide in His Word.
The challenge is that sometimes we just don’t want to do it. Whether it’s because we are too busy, too distracted, in a season of anger, or—let’s get real honest—never developed the habit, the truth is reading our Bible can sometimes feel like a burden, a checkbox, or just one more thing we aren’t getting done.
So what do we do with that? Do we go on autopilot and plow through some daily reading plan, or do we just skip it altogether?
Whether you are a new Christian or a long-time believer, this week’s episode is for you. Listen in as Andi and Lisa talk through why the desire to read our Bibles sometimes just isn’t there, obstacles that can derail us, and what they have done in those seasons to get back on track.
