Herbert is signed through a five-year, $262.5M extension; his 2026 salary of $24M is fully guaranteed.2. Jalen Carter Is Now the Highest-Paid Defensive Tackle Ever. A four-year, $152M extension (worth up to $160M, $106M guaranteed) makes Carter the highest-paid DT in NFL history at $38M/year.
