After being told she faced a significantly increased cancer risk, Helen made the decision to undergo preventative surgery — while also making one final decision that ultimately led to the birth of her third child, Charlie. After Charlie was born, Helen underwent surgery to remove her ovaries followed by a preventative mastectomy, describing her children as the driving force behind her determination to keep moving forward. Alongside the personal story, Helen explains how her business has evolved into chatbot technology and WhatsApp automation, helping organisations communicate in a way that is more personalised, intentional and useful to their audiences. Ultimately, Helen’s advice to other business owners is simple: trust yourself, stay in your own lane, keep taking action — but accept that you can’t do everything at once.
