“‘ 12 Now, therefore,’ says the Lord, ‘Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. 13 So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.”

Joel 2:12-13 NKJV

When life grows heavy with distraction, compromise, and distance from God, there comes a moment when the Spirit whispers—*“Come home.”* That’s the heartbeat of today’s lesson: It’s Time to Come Home to God. This is not a message of condemnation, but of divine invitation. God isn’t hunting us down to punish us—He’s calling us back to a relationship. He is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and great in kindness.”

That invitation from Joel still echoes in every believer’s heart today. God is not asking for a performance—He’s asking for your presence.
