Hey, I’m Chinenye, an unashamed Jesus lover, a wife, mum of three, a Nigerian British woman and a fully qualified GP.

I have lived outside of Nigeria for about 8 years now. I have struggled with my walk with God in a new environment while juggling childcare, parenting , marriage, finances and a career. I have had to deal with moments of low

self-esteem, fear, feeling inadequate and not being sure of what God has designed me for.

I have tried leaning entirely on my own strength or my previous encounters with God especially while living in Nigeria. I found that I needed an active and ongoing walk with God. I found that I needed to understand who God has designed me as especially in this new environment He has planted me.

I found that learning to hear God in real time and follow His leading always brought me to a place of fulfilment and more growth.

On this podcast, you will learn more about growing in your relationship with God, finding your identity in Him and walking in your God-given purpose.

Maybe what you believed 'purpose' was doesn't apply 'here' anymore. What if i told you that purpose is what GOD makes of exactly where you are! His plans don't stop being valid because we moved. Even when we don't understand it fully, He is still working things out. On this episode, i share what living a life of purpose can look like in an unfamiliar environment. I also share three things to be mindful and which can help us on that journey.

    Hey mama! On this episode, we talk about how to pray. You've known for so long that you need to pray as part of your walk with God, especially if you are desiring to hear Him. But you're busy, juggling so many things and exhausted on so many days. You would like to be in tune with how God speaks to you or you feel like you are not saying the right words.

    As it turns out, scripture teaches us to come to God as our Father: The One who knows us all too well, who hears us and knows our voice. Letting go of the fear of doing it right and just having a sincere, simple and honest prayer on the basis of a relationship is what scripture teaches us.

    Asking my children's view of when they call out to their daddy helped me understand better what Jesus was saying and exemplifying when He prayed throughout scripture.
