Welcome to the Heal the Hurt Podcast with Kenny Weiss — ICF Certified Life Coach and creator of the Worst Day Cycle™, Authentic Self Cycle, and Emotional Authenticity Method. Everything else treats symptoms. I treat the blueprint. If you've tried therapy, CBT, DBT, IFS, EQ, books, and self-help and still feel stuck — you're not broken. You're programmed. And programs can be rewritten. Each episode decodes the childhood emotional blueprint driving your triggers, shutdowns, and relationship cycles — and gives you root-cause tools to rewire them. No fluff. No toxic positivity. Just truth.Kenny Weiss 個人的成功 自己啓発

  • Fear of Rejection — Why No One Has Ever Actually Rejected You
    2026/09/01

You are not actually afraid of rejection. You are afraid of not being wanted, and those are two different wounds.

In this video on the fear of rejection, I show you why no one has ever actually rejected you, and what was really happening instead.

Most content on the fear of rejection teaches you how to soothe it. This one dismantles the premise. Nobody ever rejects us. All anyone is ever doing is pursuing their own needs and wants. What you call rejection is the moment you handed your value and worth to another person and made them responsible for deciding whether you keep it. And the survival persona you built to avoid rejection is the exact thing guaranteeing you never feel wanted, because even if they want you, they are wanting a version you manufactured.

I walk through my own years of constructing manipulative text messages instead of simply asking do you like me, a client who could not name his fear until he said out loud I am not okay with not being wanted, the Worst Day Cycle™ that installed this in childhood, the Authentic Self Cycle™ that gets you out, the first 6 steps of Emotional Authenticity, and the child versus adult emotional definition of worth.

No one can reject you. They can only pursue their own needs and wants. What you call rejection is your value and worth being outsourced to someone else's preference.

Rejection is a preference, not a verdict. When someone chooses differently, they are picking their own pizza toppings. They are not rejecting your eyes, your body, or your interests. They are pursuing the pizza they like.

A survival persona cannot receive love. Affection sent to a manufactured version of you cannot land on the real you, so being liked becomes proof that nobody knows you. That is why reassurance never works on the fear of not being wanted.

Your worth is either inherent or it is on loan. Adults never place the responsibility of determining their worth in somebody else's hands. Every time you edit yourself down to be chosen, you are running a childhood definition of value written before you could speak.

  • Why You’re So Hard on Yourself — The Federer 54% Rule
    2026/08/25

Why am I so hard on myself? Because your self-criticism was installed in childhood, and Roger Federer's own career numbers prove the standard you're beating yourself with is a lie.

In this video, trauma recovery and relationship coach Kenny Weiss explains where self-criticism really comes from, how to stop being a perfectionist by replacing the inner attack with a clean correction, and the exact process that quiets the voice that keeps you awake at night replaying your mistakes.

Kenny walks you through his three proprietary frameworks: the Worst Day Cycle™ (Trauma, Fear, Shame, Denial), the Authentic Self Cycle™ (Truth, Responsibility, Healing, Forgiveness), and the six steps of the Emotional Authenticity Method™, including Feelization, the step that rewires the emotional blueprint at the root instead of managing symptoms.

Roger Federer won only 54 percent of the points he played across his career, and he is one of the greatest of all time. Kenny Weiss's Federer 54% Rule: excellence is not built on eliminating imperfection, it is built on tolerating it. Anything over 50 percent, sustained, puts you among the best.

Guilt corrects behavior; shame beats up identity. Kenny Weiss teaches that healthy shame says I made a mistake, while self-victimizing shame says I am the mistake. A 2021 study in Psychological Trauma found shame only predicted lasting trauma symptoms in people who were averse to feeling it.

Self-blame is an antidote for powerlessness. Kenny Weiss teaches that we attack ourselves because if we are to blame, we have the power to fix it, a trade made in childhood when mistakes cost love. The inner critic is not your voice; it is your parent's voice.

Kenny Weiss is a relationship, communication, and childhood trauma recovery specialist, author of Your Journey to Success and Your Journey to Being Yourself, and creator of the Worst Day Cycle™, Authentic Self Cycle™, and Emotional Authenticity Method™. He helps high-functioning, emotionally exhausted adults break the repeating emotional patterns that therapy, mindset work, and communication tools never touched.

  • Passive Aggression — Why “Keeping the Peace” Is Quietly Destroying You
    2026/08/18

Passive aggressive behavior is not a communication problem. It is self-abandonment, and every fake yes you say to keep the peace builds the quiet resentment that is slowly destroying you and your relationship.

In this video, trauma recovery and relationship coach Kenny Weiss breaks down why you can't say no, why people-pleasing always ends in resentment, and why the "nice" partner is often the one quietly bleeding the relationship out. You'll learn where the fake yes was installed in childhood, how it became your emotional blueprint, and the exact three questions and words that let you say no safely, without guilt.

Passive aggressive behavior begins as childhood self-abandonment. A child who learns that having a voice, needs, and wants costs them their parents' love amputates those needs to preserve attachment, then repeats that fake yes in every adult relationship.

The fake yes is a covert transaction. People-pleasers keep score, wait for recognition, and resent the people they said yes to. Kenny Weiss teaches that lying to keep the peace is self-abuse, because a dishonest yes abuses both people in the relationship.

Before saying yes, Kenny Weiss recommends three questions. Will I keep score? Will I throw it in their face later? Will I resent them? If any answer is yes, the honest response is, "I thought about it, and it just doesn't work for me."
