Episode 17 is a deep dive into David Lynch's body of work. In particular, I suggest viewing Blue Velvet, Wild at Heart and Twin Peaks as a cohesive, unified narrative structure. I use Susan Sontag's lens of Against Interpretation to examine these films and television shows and both pay tribute to their greatness and explain the beauty I see in viewing them as a complete, unified narrative.

A brief content warning:

Because I talk about All Out 2026, I naturally talk about some tragic events. There is some crying in this episode and lots of heavy emotion.

Beyond that, this episode is about living your life with unapologetic joy. I celebrate the beginning of October and discuss Rob Zombie's film, The Munsters and AEW's 2026 pay-per-view, All Out. I talk about the bad old days, Susan Sontag and her essay Against Interpretation and have a great time doing so.

15 episodes! Surely a landmark. In this episode I talk about this great weekend of combat sports - mainly All Japan's show with Kento Miyahara vs. Yuma Anzai, AEW's All In 2026 show at Wembley and Moses Itauma vs Filip Hrgovic.

I discuss the history that takes us to All In, some of my thoughts on Suwama and Go Shiozaki and Pro Wrestling NOAH and the future of heavyweight boxing. I also talk briefly about Claressa Shields vs Lauren Price.
