Have you ever talked to a partner or long-time friend about a movie that was everywhere at one point, only to find out they never saw it?

This kept happening to us, even though we have similar tastes in movies. We started doing this over a year ago to get an idea of what each of us liked and disliked about these movies. Sometimes it clicked with the other person immediately, but other times they still did not see the personal or commercial appeal at all.

We're not promising that each movie we discuss will be an all-timer, but it will be one that stuck out to us enough to be surprised that the other completely missed out.
