After Neiman reversed his earlier account, authorities moved quickly, and both men were recaptured.Sent to Aspen to face the consequences, Tracy and Lant once again found a way out. Another jailbreak placed them back on the run, but somewhere along the trail, Lant vanished from the surviving historical record.Tracy soon found a new partner in David Merrill. Together, the two men launched a crime spree across the Pacific Northwest, committing robberies that drew increasing attention from law enforcement.
