  • #32: Will I? Won't I? And how do I even know?
    2025/12/15
Hey gorgeous! 💛 In today’s episode, I take you with me on my sunrise beach walks, where so much of my clarity and inspiration arrives. Recently, those walks have been filled with one big question… have a listen to find out what it is. I unpack how I move through decisions in real life, the same way I support my clients through them. From tuning into intuition, to feeling the yes and no in the body, to giving myself space to ride the emotional wave rather than leaping into snap choices. It’s honest, real time, and very much how I navigate both the small business decisions and the big life ones. Inside this episode we explore✨ trusting your gut and listening before the mind jumps in✨ recognising your own intuitive signals✨ why decisions feel different at the peak and the low of emotions✨ noticing what lights you up and what drains you✨ what’s working, what’s not, and using Start Stop Continue✨ the benefits and consequences model I use with my corporate clients✨ exploring future possibilities without overwhelming yourself I share openly about my own energy, what feels aligned moving forward, and what doesn’t. And the answer that came through quickly and clearly when I finally asked myself what I really want moving forward. Spoiler alert: I’m feeling called to bring more voices and conversations into the podcast space next season. If you’d love to be a guest or if you’ve got topics you’d like me to dive into, please reach out. I’d absolutely love to hear from you. This whole season has been about healing, recalibrating, reclaiming, settling on the coast and stepping back into my queen energy. Thank you for being here and being part of it. • #31: Vulnerability, Ageing and Being Seen with Special Guest Suzi Joseph
    2025/12/01
Hey gorgeous! 💛 In this episode, I’m joined by my beautiful soul sister, yoga teacher and absolute pocket rocket, Suzi Joseph, for a real, raw chat about vulnerability . how it actually feels in everyday life, not just as a cute buzzword. We dive into Suzi’s story of growing up in Canada around alcoholism and domestic violence, how that shaped her people-pleasing and “runner” tendencies and what it was like to finally stand on a stage in front of 85 women and tell the truth about her life. We also wander into juicy territory around ageing, identity, leadership, social media, imposter syndrome and that playful inner child who just wants to come out and have some fun. From there, we explore what it means to let yourself be seen tears, wobbly voice, big nose, bikinis, boogie boards and all and why our stories matter, no matter how “big” or “small” they might seem. We chat about: ✨ Soul-sister friendships where nothing is off-limits and you can go months without talking, then pick up like it was two hours ago✨ Suzi’s journey from Northern Saskatchewan to Australia, from running away to finally connecting deeply with herself and her community✨ Growing up around alcoholism and domestic violence, being told to keep it a secret and the shame and “I need to save everyone” patterns that can come from that✨ People pleasing, fear of judgement and the belief that we have to make everyone happy to be loved and accepted✨ What it felt like for Suzi to share her story publicly for the first time at a women’s event, with a shaky voice, tears and a room full of eyes on her✨ My own experience of finally sharing about losing my mum at 12, the love-hate relationship I have with being vulnerable and why I still often cry when I talk about it✨ Comparison as the “fire of vulnerability”, that sneaky voice that says “other people have it worse, my story doesn’t matter”✨ Leadership and imposter syndrome, especially as women in positions of responsibility who feel like we “should” already know everything✨ Being seen as we age, teaching yoga at 67, rebranding at almost 60, putting photos of ourselves online and all the weird stories that can pop up about our bodies and our faces✨ Social media and self-expression: the bikini and boogie board profile pic, the fear of being judged and why I ultimately choose to show up anyway✨ Letting our inner child out to play, including my very giggly (slightly naughty) moment in a Qigong circle✨ The power of small brave acts: singing “O Canada” on a balcony in a new town, changing your seat in the room, wearing the outfit you really want to wear✨ Why genuine compliments are a gorgeous form of vulnerability, like the young woman who nervously came up to tell me she’d been watching me and loved my outfit✨ Simple, practical ways to lean into vulnerability: stepping outside your comfort zone just a little, trusting your story and remembering you’ll be judged anyway, so you may as well be you This episode is a raw, with a bit of spicy language! (you know me 😉), loving reminder that: Your story is important because it’s yoursYou don’t have to wait until you’re “fixed” to be seenTears are not weaknessYou can be scared and brave at the same time If you’ve ever felt “who am I to share this?”, “my story isn’t big enough”, “I don’t want to look stupid”, or “I’m too old, too much, not enough”, this conversation is for you. 💌 I’d love to hear how this episode lands for you, especially your own experiences with vulnerability, people pleasing, ageing or sharing your story. Come and say hi over on my socials or reply to my newsletter and let me know. • #30: The Protective Freeze: When you're ready to move, but life isn't budging!
    2025/11/17

Wow… this one is a juicy one. I’ve just come back from a beautiful walk along the beach and the whales had a massive message for me and for you too 🐋

In this episode I’m diving deep into what I call the protective freeze, that feeling when life slows right down, nothing’s moving, and no matter how much you try, you can’t seem to get traction. It’s your body, your mind and your soul saying hang on, let’s pause until it feels safe to expand again.

While I was watching the whales breach, it hit me. Even when it looks like nothing’s happening on the surface, there’s something powerful moving deep below. That’s exactly what’s going on for so many of us right now.

Here’s what I’m chatting about in this episode:

    • What the protective freeze actually is and why it’s a natural part of growth
    • How our past experiences and long-term stress create deep patterns around safety
    • The subconscious beliefs that stop us from feeling ok to be happy or successful
    • How to trust your timing and soften instead of pushing harder
    • Letting go of control and allowing life to unfold with more ease
    • Why it’s okay to take a breather before your next wave of expansion

I’ve been doing some big, deep inner work lately, around safety, control and that old belief that being happy or successful might upset others. The whales reminded me that I don’t need to fix anything. I just need to witness, soften and let things rise in their own time.

    💫 I also chat about:

My brand new playbook Celebrating the Cycles of Life, a guide to help you navigate your own seasons with more flow, grace and ease. It’s all about bringing closure to one chapter before stepping into the next. You’ll find the link in the show notes.

If you’re feeling like you’re in your own version of that protective freeze or life just feels heavy or stuck right now, please know you’re not doing anything wrong. You’re in the sacred pause before your next expansion.

Let’s keep softening, trusting and allowing what’s ready to rise.

Even when it feels like nothing’s moving, something powerful is shifting deep within. You’ve got this gorgeous, keep trusting the process and keep being fabulous ✨
