So.. you've decided to take the leap, you're building and ready for take-off but marketing sucks and you have no idea how to promote yourself and grow your business visibility? How to communicate what you do, clearly. How to become visible and get found online. Each week I sit down with women midlife who transitioned from employee to entrepreneur building a service-based business over 40. They work across alternative health/wellbeing, somatic work or built a therapist business. I share their visibility strategy, frameworks and how they found ways to get found, be seen, without losing themselves in the process. We talk about the hesitation to self-promote for women midlife - versus the absolute business necessity of becoming visible to attract clients and customers. I’m Mel, a premium brand strategist and I spent 20 years in brand marketing and CSR - working with the likes of Breitling, Davidoff, and Baileys. Yet - when it came to promoting myself - I froze. I did the work, I believed in the work, and then at the last moment I hid the author. The microphone was my biggest fear. Then it was my cure. And I can help you get there too. I am the ultimate proof of concept that you can become "happily visible". I'm a mama with a little girl in primary school. I've built a portfolio career across brand consulting and helping people with self-marketing. I run Sunny Chapter - "THE conversation-first content studio" where I help women promote their work naturally through conversation - not performance. I work with coaches, therapists and practitioners whose work is transformative but difficult to explain. I don’t teach you to become a content creator. Instead I interview you so your own words and tone and voice become your marketing. Because the best marketing isn’t created. It’s extracted. WHAT'S NEXT? Subscribe and follow the podcast! In this solo episode:

You are taking your first steps, building your business, growing your business visibility and learning to be seen by others. Solo episodes are a difficult process for so many of us at this stage. I find it so much easier to interview people, and solo episodes are still a process for me as well.

I bring you along in my process: journaling, recording on audio, then using the transcript to build a content waterfall from one high-value long form asset and one key opinion.

I also share how your exact words, tone and voice are kept when she produces content for clients, so nothing feels artificial or like something ChatGPT has reproduced.

When SunnyChapter produces content for you

When Melanie works with clients to produce content, she follows this exact same format, starting with the interview conversation. Your tone of voice, the way you speak, your opinions and your words are kept exactly as you share them in the interview. Your exact words, tone and voice are turned into different content assets that help grow your visibility and promote your work.

    Who this episode is for

You, if you are taking first steps in building your business, growing your visibility and learning to be seen by others.

Topics: solo podcast episodes, content waterfall strategy, multiplier framework, repurposing content workflow, journaling for content, audio to content, podcast repurposing, thought leadership, carousel posts, lead magnet, visibility, find your voice

Book a free consultation In this episode, we chat about Vier Jahre lang hat Christin Siegemund gedacht: Wann fliege ich eigentlich auf. • Women over 40: Why Men Are Stealing Women's Expertise in Business (And How to Stop Hiding)
    2026/08/21

If you got value from this episode - share it with a friend!

Get The Sunday Shift - Learn how to get happily visible

    In this solo episode:

Men Don't Ask If They're Qualified. They Ask If It's Profitable. And so it happens that a market that we know much more about than men, understand better than men, is being taken over by men. It's time we get over ourselves and start talking about how we can help and make the impact in areas that belong to us.

I talk about the confidence gap holding women over 40 back from starting a business -especially in alternative health, wellness, and hormone-focused fields. Inspired by watching men promote hormone and perimenopause coaching businesses without hesitation (or lived experience) I need to give you a little pep talk and unpack why women wait for permission, credentials, and certainty before they start -and why men rarely do. Not in business and not in corporate when they go after a job.

If you're a woman in corporate considering a career change into entrepreneurship, coaching, or wellness, this episode is your permission slip to stop waiting to feel ready and start being visible now, find your voice, share your story. Building trust takes time, so you best start today :)

Keywords worked in naturally: women over 40, starting a business, alternative health, wellness, hormone coaching, perimenopause, confidence gap, corporate career change, entrepreneurship, visibility, permission slip
