Krazy Train Podcast: Hamish (Godthrymm) on Projections, Doom Metal Roots & the Song “Jewels” Hamish — doom metal veteran of My Dying Bride and Solstice, now fronting Godthrymm — pulls into the Krazy Train and Jasmin St. Claire gets the full story behind one of the most respected names quietly building momentum in doom metal right now. Hamish breaks down where the name Godthrymm comes from, what "divine might" actually means, and why almost nobody pronounces it correctly on the first try. He previews the band's new album Projections, releasing May 29th on Profound Lore Records — the third and final chapter of a thematic trilogy that started with Reflections looking at the past and Distortions exploring contrast, with Projections turning the lens forward into the future through wide-ranging emotional and musical influences.
