A one-way flight to Halifax and an anonymous warning move toward the same deadline: Valentine’s Day 2015. Mara and Julian follow the online conspiracy, the response in Timberlea, and arrests at the airport that interrupt a planned attack on the Halifax Shopping Centre. Sometimes the most consequential person in a crime story is the one who decides to make a call.

Content note: Mass-murder conspiracy, extremist beliefs, suicide and criminal proceedings; non-graphic.
