Or have you noticed how we can start out fired up for God and then lose that fire and eventually drift off into a lack of spiritual focus? Well, we now come to a prophet by the name of Haggai who is calling the nation of Israel back into focus. What focus you ask? They began rebuilding the Temple of God but after sixteen years of leaving Babylon they have gotten deterred. They are just like us. Sometimes we need a good hard push to get us back into spiritual focus and Haggai is just the prophet for the job.
