Habits are what define us, and we can only be as strong as our weakest habit allows. One of my worst habits is that I am chronically late to many events. After much thinking on why this is, I finally realized the culprit: Distractions
Allowing time for yourself to unwind and refresh is critical, but when consumed in excess the actual tasks at hand rapidly fall from grace in the brain. That's why in todays episode, I hope to shed some light on the issue at hand: Our phone's apps are gamified to trick our brain out of its natural conception of time.
