Does it master you? Paul states, "I will not be brought under the power of any." True freedom means refusing to let habits, desires, or substances control or enslave you instead of God.

In the Bible, to take heart means to be full of courage, stop being afraid, and find inner strength. It is a command to stop looking at trouble and start trusting God's power instead. When Jesus says this, He offers His own victory as a reason to be brave.
