PROBLEMS WITH ENVY
PSALM 144 -MIKE ANDERSON - © Mike Anderson 2002 -The Lord is Close to all who call - Based on Psalm 144) © The Grail England, and used with permission.
ISAIAH. 55; 6-9. RICH IN FORGIVENESS
PHILIPPIANS 1: 20-24,27 LIFE TO ME IS CHRIST
MATTHEW 20: 1-16
The idea is that when looking for mercy, don't be sidetracked into thinking you can bargain, or have to do something special first, or that it is too late anyway, “ for he will abundantly pardon”, says Isaiah, so call upon the Lord, shout out and turn around and face the Lord who will always forgive. Isaiah is advocating 'Spirit - led thinking' when it comes to the Lord because these are “ not your thoughts...not your ways”. The abundant mercy and goodness freely administered by the Lord is not open to what we do, or what the world might see as fair play. The same mercy is give to anyone who asks, whenever they ask.
