As part of Radio St Pete's Sunscreen Film Festival 2026 series, "Voices: The Danny Gans Story", a documentary produced by his son, Andrew Gans will be part of the film fest, playing on May 1st. Andrew explores the luminous yet enigmatic life of his father, Las Vegas icon Danny Gans, uncovering a performer’s triumphs, struggles, and the unbreakable father-son bond that helps Andrew get closure of his father's untimely passing. Interviewer Jules Warren experienced the magic of Danny Gans firsthand during her life in Las Vegas, and for her, this conversation is very personal.

Writer, Director & Producer - Andrew Davies Gans is a Los Angeles based producer, director, and writer. As a producer, he has brought bold narratives to prestigious festivals like SXSW (Pink Skies Ahead) and Tribeca (Changing the Game), collaborating with talents such as Anya Taylor-Joy, Michael Shannon, Emma Roberts, and Ewan McGregor. With VOICES, Andrew makes his directorial debut, crafting a layered and intimate documentary that explores the life of his father, Las Vegas legend entertainer, Danny Gans.
