Social prescribing is a method of referring people to non-medical services to support their health and well-being. It's based on the understanding that health is determined by a variety of social, economic, and environmental factors. Social prescribing aims to address people’s needs holistically by connecting them to community groups and statutory services for practical and emotional support.
