There's been a bunch of whiteboard and spreadsheet talk on the Gyro Step lately: which players the Milwaukee Bucks can build around, who should the Bucks trade for what picks, who are some free agents Milwaukee could pull off a complicated sign-and-trade to acquire, etc. It's been too long since Ti Windisch and Rohan Katti got to just talk ball. So that's what this episode is: they draft members of the current Bucks roster by simply who they are most excited to watch during the 2026-27 season. Contracts, trade value, and even minutes per game aren't a factor. It's all ball.

We're officially in August, the driest time of year for NBA news. Ti Windisch and Rohan Katti start this mailbag Gyro Step podcast episode by covering "news" including former Bucks signing elsewhere and Kel'el Ware working out with Hakeem Olajuwon before getting to the questions asked by listeners.
