This week, Josie kicks off a new sermon series on "Keeping the Fire Going", and spoke us to about when Moses was asked to do a difficult task by God. God reassured Moses by telling him His name is 'I AM', and this means that He is always the same, and will lead His people with love, truth and justice.

In this week's sermon, we looked at the inclusivity of God's message. When a dispute arises, the early church took the time and energy to bring everyone on board.

We live in a society where there are lots of areas where people feel marginalised or left out. We know that Jesus died for all people, whatever background they come from. We are not divided by human barriers, but are all equally included in God's love.

Jealousy stands in contrast to God's generous love. The antidote to an envious spirit is a practice of gratitude.
