On the night of March 8, 1994, hundreds of citizens, law enforcement officers, and weather radar operators across 42 Michigan counties witnessed dozens of bright, multi-colored light formations maneuvering over Lake Michigan at impossible speeds. In this episode, we break down the real-time radar data from the National Weather Service, the cross-county dispatch records, and the eerie historical patterns of the Great Lakes Triangle.

Tucked away on the shores of West Bay Lake in Wisconsin lie the stone remnants of Summerwind Mansion. Originally built for US Commerce Secretary Robert P. Lamont, the grand lodge became notorious in the 1970s when the Hinshaw family reported extreme paranormal encounters, unexplained structural anomalies, and lingering apparitions. We separate documented Northwoods history from local legend to tell the true story of Wisconsin’s most famous ruin.
