  • Purpose Confessions: Day 10
    2025/09/10

Confidence is contagious. When you show up boldly, you give permission for others to do the same. Just like David before Goliath, your confidence isn’t in the stones you carry, but in the God who guides your aim. That’s why every step you take in purpose shakes mediocrity and awakens courage in the people watching you.

Think about diamonds. They stand out not because they try harder, but because their very makeup reflects light differently. You’re the same. The qualities you once thought were “too much” or “too different” are exactly what make you powerful.

God didn’t put you here to repeat cycles of mediocrity — He placed innovation, creativity, and boldness inside you so that when you show up, you shift atmospheres. Think about athletes on a track. If a sprinter runs into another lane, they get disqualified — no matter how fast they were running. The same is true for us. When we focus too much on someone else’s calling, we disqualify ourselves from shining fully in our own.

So here’s your challenge this week: commit to your lane. Stop measuring your success by their likes, their titles, or their timelines. If your lane is teaching, teach. If your lane is creating, create. If your lane is serving, serve. And while you’re in that lane, don’t dim your light to make others comfortable. Shine bright — because the world needs your glow.

Family, let’s get clear on this: purpose isn’t someday — it’s daily. My assignment is not floating somewhere in the distance waiting for the perfect conditions; it’s right here, right now.

God reveals our assignments in the everyday — in conversations, in opportunities to serve, in the quiet nudges of the Spirit. The clarity doesn’t come all at once, but it comes as we show up consistently. That’s why I remind myself: my assignment is clear, and I answer it daily.
