  • Groups Podcast Ep 79, The Fear of God: Does My Sin Cost Others?
    2026/07/22

    07.19.26

We often forget that we serve a Holy God by emphasizing His love over His holiness. Fearing God is not living in terror, but existing in such awe of His holiness that we hate what separates us from Him—sin. When we lose this fear, we minimize sin and mistake His patience for permission. Our sin is never private; it always costs others, impacting families and future generations. Achan’s hidden sin cost Israel thirty-six warriors and an important battle. While Saul feared public opinion, David owned his sin and repented. True biblical repentance means falling forward in humble accountability. Ultimately, God’s holiness demands justice, but His love provides Christ. The Cross is where justice and mercy meet, inviting us to encounter His holiness, receive grace, and fulfill our true divine calling.

    2026/07/16

    07.12.26

This week we continue our Character of God Series by considering the Faithfulness of God. His faithfulness means that He is completely true to His character, His promises, and His covenant. This message focuses on His covenant faithfulness by learning from the covenants of the Old Testament and then shining a light on the faithfulness of God in Jesus’ establishment and fulfillment of the New Covenant. Let’s go to school on covenants, and walk out in awe of God’s faithfulness.

  • Groups Podcast Ep 77, The Fatherhood of God: Abiding with Him
    2026/07/08

    07.05.26

Earthly experiences shape our view of fatherhood, but Jesus revealed a radical truth: God is not a distant judge, but a loving Father who desires relationship. In Matthew 6, Jesus invites us to approach God as Father—our Abba who acts as our Source, Sustainer, Protector, and Provider. The story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15 illustrates two ways we fail to abide. The younger son sought independence through reckless living but found restoration in a Father who valued his identity over his sin. The older son stayed close but remained spiritually distant, trapped in religious performance by valuing property, processes, and programs over intimacy. True relationship requires presence over performance. God cannot be manipulated by religious checklists or works. He is never shocked by our mess; He is simply calling for a generation to put away the distractions, enter His presence, and choose to truly abide in Him.

  • Groups Podcast Ep 76, The Overwhelming Generosity of God
    2026/07/01

    06.28.26

What if God is far more generous than you’ve ever imagined? If He truly is a Giver who delights in blessing His people, why then do so many of us struggle to experience His abundance? In this message, you’ll discover that the issue may not be with God’s willingness to give, but with what might be blocking us from receiving. Through Scripture, personal testimony, and practical application, we’ll explore three heart issues that can hinder the flow of God’s generosity in your life. Our prayer is that as the message unfolds, the Holy Spirit will examine our hearts and challenge us to answer a crucial question: Is God really as good and generous as He says He is—and do we truly believe it?

  • Groups Podcast Ep 75, Experiencing God’s Love in the Exchanged Life
    2026/06/24

    06.21.26

Building on the premise that true success is loving others like God loves, we explore the “How” of Christ’s life: the Exchanged Life. While Jesus declared, “I am the Way,” He modeled a life free of self-reliance, doing only what He saw the Father doing. Human pride fails us, leading to exhaustion and sin cycles. True freedom is found when we reach the end of ourselves, embracing humility and being “poor in spirit.” By practicing Galatians 2:20 daily—recognizing we are crucified with Christ and He lives through us—we exchange our human inability, weakness, and insecurities for His supernatural strength, security, and righteousness. Whether facing daily frustrations, marital friction, business choices, or habitual sin, we must stop struggling in our own power. Instead, we abide in Christ, continually confessing sin and consciously trading our emptiness for His everything.

  • Groups Podcast Ep 74, The Kindness of God
    2026/06/16

    06.14.2026

Part of God’s character is defined by kindness—His goodness and mercy in action. By choosing the single forbidden tree over God’s abundant provision, humanity succumbed to the enemy’s deception, trading divine good for a sinful nature and breaking their spiritual connection with God despite being sovereignly gifted with the freedom of choice. Though they were deceived and fell into sin, God’s grace provided a rescue plan. Through Jesus’s sacrifice, we are forgiven, justified, and reconciled by faith, not works. This free gift replaces our sinful nature with a new spirit, restoring our relationship with God. By strengthening ourselves through meditation on God’s free gift, we can effectively manage our households and disciple others, faithfully stewarding His blessings to fill our cities with Jesus for His glory.

This week marks the beginning of a new sermon series where we’ll be examining the Character of God. There are no greater questions that we can ask than, “Who is God, and how can I relate to Him?” Throughout this series we’ll hear from different pastors, addressing God’s kindness, love, compassion, fatherliness, generosity, justice, presence, and His very good news. Today we are asking the question, “What is the chief and highest end of God?” His highest, most pinnacle pursuit may not be what we expect, but it’s certainly very good for us. Let’s lean in and discover more about God together.

  • Groups Podcast Ep 72, Baptism Weekend The Changed Life
    2026/06/03

    05.31.2026

    Sermon Summary

Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we personally trust Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. When Christians are baptized, they are immersed in water to identify with Jesus in His death, and when brought out of the water, they identify with His resurrection. We believe that water baptism is an outward declaration of an inward transformation. The declaration is threefold: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of God’s family.
